Confidence building

Confidence is KEY

I teach confidence by combining pageant training with life skills. We work on speaking clearly, setting goals, improving posture, and learning how to walk into any room with self-belief. I want every contestant to gain confidence that stays with them long after the pageant is over

Practice at your own pace

• Break skills into small steps:

We don’t do everything at once—first posture, then walk, then turns, then facial expressions, then full routine.

• Set personal goals (not comparison goals):

Each contestant focuses on improving their own progress, not trying to match someone else.

• Practice in a safe space:

I create a supportive environment where mistakes are okay and growth is celebrated.

• Repeat until it feels natural:

Confidence comes from consistency—so we practice the same skill until it becomes comfortable

• Adjust to their comfort level:

If a contestant is shy, we start small and increase difficulty as they’re ready.

• Positive feedback + gentle coaching:

I correct in an encouraging way that builds them up instead of tearing them down.

• Real pageant practice:

We simulate stage moments (walking, smiling, introductions, interview questions) so they feel prepared on pageant day.

Hello,

I am Makenzie Stamey and I am a pageant coach and Photographer. I am from Greenville, South Carolina and I have lived in Bee Spring, Ky for 5 years now. Pageants have been in my life for 3 years now and I have learned so much!! I have competed in several pageants such as AmeriFest, Kentucky America Presents, and Elegant Elite Miss. I have brought over 100 girls to their win local, state or nationally across the state of Kentucky.

I am the oldest of 6 girls and the aunt to the most amazing little girl in the world. My niece has had a love for the stage since before she could walk and she has been my inspiration to build confidence in others out there. During your journey with me, you will be treated and prepped just like you are my own family. As a past daycare worker and also retail worker, I have all kinds of experience with all ages and love getting to meet new people. The Tiny Tiara Techniques team is a family itself. I have watched my girls go from strangers to best friends in a pageant weekend, fulfilling the even stronger meaning to pageants.
